As the daughter of a photographer, Masha was brought up posing for her father and trying out his cameras while learning to develop pictures in his dark room. Although the real interest only came much later, when she started travelling herself, she felt the need to bring a camera along for the ride, as a way of preserving all her memories. She just graduated from her own studies of analogue and digital photography in June 2015 and went to Lourdes for her portfolio. As an agnostic, she felt strangely serene in the midst of all the fervent chaos and was extremely respectful of the unfolding scenes, while maintaining an outsider's eye during the whole experience. This strange mix is clearly reflected in her interesting work.
